Textured from a natural piece of coral, gently tumbled by the ocean and found washed up on a beautiful deserted beach on the Great Barrier Reef. The detail is amazing, nature at her best.
The design is carefully shaped around a cultured salt water akoya pearl from the akoya oyster, that are known for their beautiful lustre. Each pearl has its own silver post soldered in place to hold it securely.
Fine silver is marked .999 and is 99.9% silver. For reference, sterling is .925 or 92.5% silver so fine silver has a greater value, is less susceptible to tarnish, and has a brilliant shine.
These earrings are just over 2cm long and about 0.5cm wide.
Each Akoya pearl is approximately 7x8mm
