We were lucky enough to anchor off here whenever the weather permitted, snorkelling the beautiful surrounding coral reefs in crystal clear water which became totally and utterly addictive!
The reef around it was very shallow, so the charter boats from Cairns had to bypass it and head over to the much bigger sand cay, Vlassof Cay also known as Big Upolu.
They say there is a resident croc on each of the sand cays, but we were lucky enough not to spot one, and hope that only applies much farther north!
