This texture was taken from a piece of coral I found (and safely returned) washed up on Vlasoff Cay, on the Great Barrier Reef whilst we were sailing up to Lizard Island. Only accessible by the odd boat travelling north or a privately hired helicopter......Special moulding putty captures natures textures in incredible detail and I carry it with me wherever I go !
The fine silver ring is handcrafted from one of the delicate woody strands from a palm fruit bunch reminding one of enjoying cocktails on the beach.....which has a gorgeous texture and sparkles in the light. A pearl is the final touch at the end of the chain to complete the tropical feel.
