How do I care for my Jewellery?
The fundamentals of good jewellery care are: make sure it is the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off.
To prolong the life of your jewellery, refrain from wearing it while sleeping, showering, swimming, or exercising. The best way to prevent tarnish in the first place, is to wash your jewellery with soap and water, rinse and dry well. Store in an airtight container such as a jewellery box.
Over time any metal will begin to tarnish, but silver is super easy to clean. Silver polishing cloths will remove light tarnish ( I recommend Sunshine Polishing Cloths ) and a gentle liquid cleaner for our fine silver and Argentium silver with deep textures works beautifully. We are spoilt for choice, some clean just silver pieces, and others are gentle enough to include pearls. Read each manufacturers instructions carefully, as extensive exposure to the chemical may be harmful to your jewellery.
